Roles and Responsibilities :
- Design electrical systems for mining machinery such as crushers, mills, and mobile processing plants.
- Develop electrical schematics, layouts, and single-line diagrams for plant power distribution and control systems.
- Select and specify electrical components including motors, transformers, switchgear, MCCs, VFDs, sensors, and control panels.
- Design and implement automation systems using PLC, SCADA, and HMI for machine and plant operations.
- Conduct testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting of electrical and automation systems.
- Integrate electrical and automation systems with mechanical equipment in collaboration with design teams.
- Coordinate with procurement, manufacturing, and field teams to support installation and commissioning.
- Ensure compliance with electrical standards, safety regulations, and mining industry requirements.
- Prepare technical documentation, specifications, and support project execution.
Desired Qualification and skill Requirements :
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical / Electronics / Instrumentation Engineering.
- 5–10 years of experience in electrical design and automation for heavy equipment or industrial plants.
- Strong knowledge of PLC programming, SCADA systems, automation hardware, and industrial control systems.
- Experience with electrical design tools, schematic development, and system integration.
- Knowledge of industrial electrical safety standards and regulatory compliance.
- Ability to troubleshoot electrical and automation systems effectively.
- Good communication and coordination skills to work with cross-functional teams.
